Registration has opened for the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Business Forum, which will take place in Riga this year from June 5 to 7. This will be the 35th EBRD Annual Meeting, gathering government representatives, investors, business leaders, policymakers, and opinion leaders from around the world, making Riga a significant center for international dialogue and cooperation.
The event will combine high-level political discussions with the Business Forum program, creating an internationally significant platform for the exchange of views on global challenges, investment priorities, and future directions of economic development.
The main theme of the meeting is “From Volatility to Multilateralism: National Innovation in a Changing World,” emphasizing how economies adapt to today’s changing conditions by promoting innovation, digitalization, and sustainable economic growth.
The Annual Meeting is one of the most significant events on the global development, investment, and economic agenda. It brings together government representatives, investors, private sector leaders, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and opinion leaders in one place to discuss current challenges and opportunities in the economic development of the region and the world. During the meeting, high-level plenary sessions, investment sessions, thematic discussions, networking events, and bilateral meetings will take place, fostering the formation of new partnerships and the attraction of investments.
The choice of Riga as the venue emphasizes the importance of Latvia and the Baltic region in the international economic space and confirms the country's capacity to host high-level international events. The meeting will provide significant visibility for both Latvia and the region, while creating opportunities for local companies and organizations to establish contacts with international partners.
Interested parties are already invited to apply for participation, as registration is open to a wide range of stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and the media. Registration continues until May 29, 2026.
