On Friday, May 8, the fourth and penultimate payment from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) - amounting to 371.2 million euros - was received into the state budget at the Latvian high-tech company “Aerones.” This payment is part of the total €1.97 billion available to Latvia. The payment was made after the European Commission (EC) assessed and approved the successful implementation of the 41 reform and investment indicators set out in Latvia’s RRF plan, for which Latvia’s payment request and supporting documents were submitted to the EC at the end of 2025.
